After 17 years of service Aidan G. Kelly has decided to step down from the IRBC. During his long tenure he has made a huge contribution to the work of the Committee which will undoubtedly be missed. His committee work is characterised by a keen attention to detail which is augmented by his considerable expertise, especially in matters of identification and procedures. These skills were most evident when Aidan maintained the Provisional List for two years and when he played a major role in compiling and checking the online version of the Irish List. That said, his most outstanding qualities are his constant good humor and generous spirit, especially when sharing his huge knowledge and know-how as so many who have met him can confirm. Needless to say the IRBC wish Aidan the very best for the future and thank him for his many contributions to the IRBC.
