Removal of Species, 1998.
The Committee has reviewed the list of species and subspecies requiring descriptions and has decided that, with effect from 1st January 1998, records of Goosander Mergus merganser and migrant Wood Warbler Phylloscopus sibilatrix will no longer need descriptions. (Records of Wood Warbler seen in breeding habitat have not required descriptions since 1st January 1987.)
